Design and develop a set of front-end applications for Cash Equity Trading desks. Applications provided traders with the information about movements and changes to IOI (indications of interest), delivered information on market pulse, provided a facility for traders and sales persons to negotiate and share profit and loss from client trades, as well as provided automated reporting capability for various aspects of traders’ performance. The applications are developed using C# .NET 4.0 on both server and client with communication layer based on Tibco EMS enterprise infrastructure. Client side uses WPF, Winforms and DevExpress controls library in order to enhance GUI’s presentational capabilities. Lua VM and Lua .NET interface is used to provide flexibility for developing automated reporting solutions. Data storage uses Sybase DB on a company-wide basis.

Equity Derivatives Designed, developed and maintained Brisk Options Trading System, used by options traders and market makers who are clients of ML. Collected change requests and new business requirements from end-users for current and newly designed systems. Maintained constant communication with business sponsors, users and support team regarding project progress, feature implementations in order to maintain functional compliance and original project time line. Started and lead design and early prototyping of the new streamlined version of the system. Provided fast-response support to system’s users located in Chicago and NY. Market data distribution and risk calculation component are developed using C++ and STL library. Designed and developed Investment Research software system, deployed in several major investment banks. The software is developed using .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET and .NET Reflection mechanism. It consists of highly configurable set of components instantiated by MS Word and provides functionality for creation of coherent investment research documents, defined by business requirements.

Designed and developed robotic equipment management software for semiconductor manufacturing processes. The system is based on a client/server paradigm. Design phase involved gathering requirements and developing use cases, static and sequence diagrams in UML utilizing Rational XDE environment. Client application is developed using.NET Framework, C# and .NET Remoting in VisualStudio.NET 2003. Server-side development, including low-level motion engine and hardware communication modules were developed using C++ , STL and TCP/IP Sockets on Linux platform.

Designed and developed Pharmaceutical Automated Laboratory software for one of the major pharmaceutical companies. The software system is designed using client/server architecture. Server-side development using C++ and STL on Linux platform. Developed multithreaded server-side code for handling simultaneous requests from multiple clients/work cells. Client-side development was done using .NET Framework and C# in VisualStudio.NET 2002. Multithreaded client code involved extensive use of .NET locks and mutexes. Communication with individual chemical devices was implemented via use of TCP/IP sockets. Server data tier was implemented using stored procedures in Oracle 9 database. Client-server communication involved passing XML messages over network library. Application design and documentation phases involved development of various UML diagrams in Rational Rose Enterprise Suite for further FDA-regulated validation. Designed and developed financial software for energy hedging in deregulated and regulated energy industry. The applications are intended to be delivered as a service and based on n-tier architecture. Development was done using Visual C++, Visual Studio.NET, C#, C++, ASP.NET and C++ Rogue Wave library as a business objects foundation. Product is intended to be a remotely hosted application utilizing web and remoting technologies. Designed and developed Web-based hosted B2B N-tier software for direct and indirect manufacturing e-procurement. The system, hosted at ASP’s site, allows registered suppliers and buyers significantly reduce their procurement costs and necessary time to complete transaction by easily collaborating on their orders, production plans, delivery schedules and other issues involved. The application was developed in adherence with object oriented principles using COM+ transactional middleware components development in C++, STL and ATL using Visual Studio 6.0 and integrated with MS SQLServer data layer via ADO and ODBC. Product design was performed using UML and Visio 2000. Integration with third-party application was performed utilizing Java API. User presentation layer utilized ASP and ASP.NET

Designed and developed distributed N-tier applications for PATROL Enterprise management environment. Design phase involved gathering customer requirements and producing application design in UML. Development phase utilized COM/DCOM components in Visual C++ and ATL, cross-platform development with STL, TCP/IP sockets and multithreaded Platform. The product allows system administrators to easily monitor and manage multiple Microsoft Cluster Servers on enterprise WindowsNT/Windows2000 networks via single one-to-many view and proactively resolve potential problems and bottlenecks by deploying custom developed policies via Active scripting.
